Care Instructions
Thoughtful care for products handcrafted with nature.
At Siloam Artisan Soap, every product is made in small batches using pure, natural ingredients. With a little mindful care, you can help your soaps, butters and haircare bars last longer while maintaining their beautiful texture and performance.
Soaps
Our soaps are crafted with nourishing oils, butters and fresh goat’s milk. To help them stay firm and last longer, follow these simple tips:
Use in Portions
Cut the bar into two or three smaller pieces and use one piece at a time. This keeps the unused portions dry and fresh.
Keep Away from Standing Water
Natural soaps dissolve faster when exposed to excess moisture. Place your soap on a draining soap dish and keep it in a dry spot between uses.
A Note About Glycerin
Our soaps retain natural glycerin, which is wonderful for your skin but attracts moisture from the air. If the soap feels slightly dewy, simply keep it somewhere dry and it will firm up again.
Body Butter
Our body butters are rich, concentrated and made entirely from natural butters and oils.
Avoid Moisture Inside the Jar
Always use clean, dry fingers or a spatula. Introducing water can affect the texture and longevity of the butter.
Store in a Cool, Dry Place
Heat may cause the butter to melt or change consistency. Keep the lid tightly closed when not in use.
Shampoo and Conditioner Bars
Our solid haircare bars are formulated to cleanse and condition effectively while reducing waste.
Use a Draining Soap Tray
Allow the bars to dry completely between uses. Keeping them away from standing water helps them last significantly longer.
Let Them Breathe
Store in a well-ventilated area after each use so the bars stay firm and easy to handle.
A Gentle Reminder
With mindful care, your Siloam products will stay beautiful, effective and long lasting, allowing you to enjoy the full benefits of natural, handcrafted skincare.
